I met up with Class of 2023 senior Daniel at Seattle's Olympic Sculpture Park for his session sometime in mid-October. He wanted a mix of urban backdrops to showcase his sharp style and his trumpet playing. We had such a great time capturing images using the stunning red rust backdrop and nearby brick walls.


Daniel's Senior Portraits are a great example of outfit ideas for guys and why bringing along something meaningful to your session ( like an instrument ) can create amazing memories!

Daniel chose our MODERN session, which is an hour-long photoshoot at one of 5 pre-selected locations. Each location offered with our MODERN session has been chosen for it's photographic ability and demand from our clients. We want to make sure our sessions stand the test of time.


Our MODERN sessions include 2 outfits - and based on what Daniel wanted to create, we settled on the Sculpture Park for it's iconic backdrops, and proximity to some cool brick walls.

It was a beautiful fall day in Seattle with some golden light. The leaves had started to change colors and I love how they compliment the red in the sculpture. Daniel wore blue slacks and a collared shirt with popped against the rich warm tones and really made his trumpet stand out.

For Daniel's second look he choose some classic chinos and a vintage Hawaiian shirt. I absolutely love this style choice. We headed across the street from the park to a cool brick building. The sun was lower in the sky and provided so much warmth to these images. I love how all the colors compliment each other.

So much personality in these photos! I'm always looking to tie together the entire photoshoot, and the warm tones here compliment the rich reds + sun flare captured from the first outfit.
