every week we showcase one of our clients in our "Featured Friday" series - highlighting the amazing graduating seniors we have worked with, and their session with us.
I had so much fun working with Karis. She was super game to work with my ideas; playing with camera angles to create cinematic images, movement and soft out of focus moments. I have been slowly incorporating more film ( and film-like editing ) to my work - a tribute to my early photography days working exclusively with film and developing prints in the darkroom. Today I am inspired by movement, cinematic landscapes and creating images that tell a story about who you are and how you want to share your presence with the world.
Enjoy this peek at our session with Karis!

My favorite 35mm film has always been Fuji Acros 100 for it's contrast and soft grain. The dark areas never get too muddied, and you can see detail through all the highlights and lowlights of the image. I am constantly striving to achieve this look - even when editing digital images to look and feel like film.

This summer we are introducing 35mm film into our Senior Portrait ULTIMATE package
If you are inspired by film, nostalgia, and the 90s - I would love to be your Senior Portrait photographer this year!
